POCO X3 Pro review: Power packed, but no all-rounder

Although to contradict myself, there is some image ghosting on this panel. You’ll notice most often when scrolling quickly and slow down. It’s not too distracting, it’s just something to note, and given the cost of this smartphone, it’s not a dealbreaker. Stereo sound is offered with a combination of a bottom-firing speaker and the earpiece. At full volume, the entire chassis vibrates, but it doesn’t affect the sound quality. It’s not exactly great for https://bellaitaliakodgarica.rs/2023/05/12/upgrade-your-device-with-sm-n920v-firmware-7-0/ music, but for videos and movies the sound profile is fairly good. There’s the bonus of a 3.5mm headphone port up if you want to plug in some speakers or a pair of decent cans.

poco x3 and poco x3 pro difference

With the Poco X3 Pro, Xiaomi combines an actually low price with a fast processor and a lavish camera equipment. The review will show you whether a real “Pro” comes out of this smartphone in the end.

  • In our testing, I noticed a slight bleeding issue around the punch-hole, which can be observed with white background.
  • I bought it in 2021 in fall and until the poco launcher update it was an unpleasant experience.
  • It’s plastic too, and despite the internals, it can still feel quite cheap in the hand.
  • The Poco X3 Pro on the other hand will cost you Rs. 20,999 for 8 GB/ 128 GB variety which is definitely lighter on the pocket.

Thankfully Poco kept the micro SD card expansion slot still available for those needing even more storage capacity. However, you have to give up Dual-SIM use if you decide to use a microSD card so that’s that. Besides the color there is still the big POCO branding in the middle hashed chroma stripe. Based on the light hitting the stripe you get the logo to show a color gradient from blue to almost magenta. Supposedly this textured back should improve fingerprints but I don’t think it is as effective it should be. Pare the X3 Pro’s camera spec down and it’s got a perfectly fine main lens, then, but that’s about as far as things go.

  • Xiaomi POCO X3 Pro (vayu) Europe (EEA) official ROM, include stable, weekly and beta MIUI firmware which can be updated with Recovery and Fastboot (need mi flash tool).
  • Android 11, running Xiaomi’s MIUI 12 skin by default.
  • Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus 5GSamsung Galaxy A53Screen6.67-inch AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels), 120Hz…
  • Geekbench 5 scores the phone 2,530 more points than Snapdragon 765G smartphones like the OnePlus Nord, which averages 1,800.
  • It is even better than the Poco X3 Pro with regards to other technology such as connectivity.

However, if POCO managed to make it more sleek and thin, this would’ve conquered the mid-range smartphone segment entirely by storm. Since 2018, POCO has released some amazing smartphones that are absolute budget monsters. Even its newest release, M3 has shattered every sale record. Its first sale sold more than 150,000 Units and created new records in Flipkart. We all know how POCO F1 disrupted every sales figure out there and made everyone mad. The phone single-handedly built an empire for the brand in Asia and European markets.
